we're melting

I don’t know about you, but when the asphalt is hot enough to melt the soles of your shoes, there’s a serious problem.

I’m talking about heat so strong, it could melt your face off.

I’m saying that even speeding down the highway with your windows rolled down, you’ll be blasted by air so hot you’d think you were in an oven.

We’re talking about 3 ice cold showers a day, & still being drenched in sweat.

This friend of ours, yea, he just got the new 1200GSA too & he’s bouncing all over the place with such enthusiasm that I struggle to comprehend how he’s functioning in spite of the sweltering conditions. Just watching him I become exhausted.

That being said…. his energy led to a pretty epic weekend. A last minute trip to the beach somehow turned into a discussion about heading to the opposite coast & across to Evia island to go camping.

I’ll admit. I was sceptical at first. I like to plan & prepare. Do my grocery shopping. Pack enough food to feed an army. & just generally be informed. None of that happened this time, & yet still I had the most amazing time.

On another note… Panagiotis had a birthday this week & I surprised him with the new GoPro… so hopefully these two videos are the last ones filmed with my iPhone!!!!
